The future of Te Punanga Manu (also known as the Te Anau Bird Park) is set to be shaped by a united regional effort, with mana whenua, key agencies, and the wider community coming together to explore new opportunities for the much-loved site.
Ōraka Aparima Rūnaka, as mana whenua, are leading the development of a long-term vision for Te Punanga Manu and approached Great South to help explore potential options.
In response, Great South is facilitating a public engagement process from 14th July to 3rd August. Community members, groups and businesses with an interest in Te Punanga Manu are invited to share their thoughts on what the future of this site could look like. Only feedback received via this Form will be considered, however supplementary information can be provided.
